# About the author
Dr. Michelle Golden is a veteran educator who has taught a variety of courses at both the secondary and collegiate levels. Within the International Baccalaureate, she served as DP coordinator through initial verification and into implementation. She taught IB Language and Literature and IB Theory of Knowledge and served as the extended essay coordinator. She served as an examiner for English A Extended Essay, English A Language and Literature Individual orals, and Paper 1 for both English A Literature and English A Language and Literature. Michelle holds a PhD in Renaissance Literature and Renaissance and Classical Rhetoric from Georgia State University.
