TED Talks: Psychology playlist

TED describes itself as a non-profit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. (TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design.) Psychology has been a major focus of interest and currently there are 241 talks and 161 blog posts on relevant issues. Navigating this much information is challenging, but you can access various playlists that help you focus on areas of particular interest to you.

The playlist “Fascinating psych experiments” presents talks on psychological studies, often by the investigates themselves. For example, Elisabeth Loftus talks about a number of her studies into memory. Another playlist, “The struggle of Mental health is particular relevant” is particularly relevant to our study of Abnormal Psychology. The IB Diploma can be a stressful experience, but the advice provided by this playlist, “Talks to help you manage stress”, can help you deal with it and even make it your friend.
