Accounts Portal

The Accounts Portal is an Identity Broker implemented with OpenID Connect that provides SSO services for Fara Suite.

Supports federated login (as relaying party) with the following identity providers:

  • Entra ID (previously Azure Active Directory)

  • Google Identify Services

Coursework integration with ManageBac+

  • Integrates with Accounts Portal with "Sign in with ManageBac+" and imports users, subjects, and classes and tasks, and can be configured on a program-by-program basis. When enabled for a given program, ManageBac+ is the source of truth within AssessPrep for the specified entities.

  • AssessPrep exends ManageBac+ with a custom assessment type that includes grade passback for teacher feedback and scoring. ManageBac can also display these custom AssessPrep assessment-related entities.

iDAT

  • iDAT integrates with OpenApply by augmenting the application process for parents. Parents are able to register and pay for benchmarked, age-appropriate assessments directly as part of the admissions process.

Calendar

  • Provisions users with PowerSchool ID passback on creation. Mapping from OpenApply user records to PowerSchool user records is subsequently tracked by the PowerSchool ID.

  • Classlink utilizes the Public APIs to consume ManaegBac+'s users, classes, subjects, and enrollments.
