# Accrediting organisations

There are many organisations that provide accreditation. The organisations covered in the next pages are all established and internationally recognised organisations and will provide a brief overview of who they are, their mission and the services they provide to help guide whether they could be a good fit.

Something to note is, accreditation and membership are two different things. An educational school can be a member without being accredited.
