# Technical Training & PD

Once your Atlas site is ready, we are ready to introduce your team to the new system. In this phase, two types of training are considered: **Technical Training** (included with your implementation) covers accessing courses, using Atlas tools for curriculum writing, and managing your system. These virtual trainings last approximately 1 hour. **Professional Development** focuses on the purpose of curriculum documentation, creating high-quality units, or managing a curriculum process. It is essential for the long-term success of your initiative.

Optional: Atlas Reports Overview

One of the most powerful features of Atlas is its robust reporting, which allows both teachers and administrators to analyze your school's curriculum in meaningful ways and answer specific questions. The insights gained from these reports can inform your current curriculum process and provide a foundation for collaborative, focused discussions with colleagues.

Once sufficient curriculum has been developed in Atlas, schedule an Atlas Reports training or overview with your Implementation Specialist. Be sure to invite members of your curriculum teams who could benefit from this session.
