Student learning is strengthened through opportunities to reflect, connect, share and curate evidence of their learning. ManageBac offers a range of portfolios and journals that can be used throughout the IB programmes.

The Student Portfolio is available for every ManageBac student, providing a collection of their academic work over time, along with opportunities for goal setting and reflection. Learn more about the Student Portfolio and how to set it up using the resources below.

Built-in portfolios and journals are also available for specific DP and MYP subjects and journalling functions to support service and project-based learning.

IB Diploma Programme

Theory of Knowledge

Using our pre-built student TOK worksheets, students can record and reflect on their learning throughout the TOK course, ensuring they have opportunities to develop connections with prior knowledge, across their subjects and with real-world contexts.

Extended Essay Researcher’s Reflection Space

The Researcher’s Reflection Space allows students to map their research and development process throughout the EE, meeting IB requirements with an easy form download.

Creativity, Activity and Service

Students record their experiences as well as upload their reflections and evidence in any file type.

Language and Literature Learner Portfolio

Students build a collection of their work and reflections throughout the two years of the course. Students can reflect upon their engagement with literary and non-literary texts and establish connections among them.

IB Arts

Easily record Interactions and upload artefacts that support the creative process.

All eCoursework is automatically saved in each student’s Portfolio.

IB Career-related Programme

Language Portfolio

Students can add a journal entry, website, video, photo, or file. Entries must be linked to one or more of their targeted learning outcomes.

Reflective Project

Built-in guidance, support and space to plan, reflect and record the details of the Reflective Project.

IB Middle Years Programme

The Arts

Space for students to digitally record their projects, process and responses - automatically available in every Arts class with no need to select anything.

Community and Personal Project

Students can plan and share progress, create deadlines and record outcomes.

Service as Action

Students can record and share experiences, reflections and evidence, with in-built tracking.

Interdisciplinary Projects

Pre-built with MYP IDU criteria, this project-based learning template is designed to support MYP interdisciplinary unit delivery and assessment.

For any programme, you can create a Project-based Learning template with custom options including space for journalling or reflection.
