How do I pay my outstanding balance?

An invoice will be sent to the parent email we have on file for the balance payment of the courses. This comes from the Pamoja Education Finance team. These will be sent out after 28th August.

When are the final balance dates for each course?

Please see your invoice for the final balance date.

Is accommodation included?

No, this is a non-residential course and therefore if you are coming from afar, you will need to organise your own accommodation and transport.

Is catering provided?

Catering is not provided on this course; therefore you will need to bring snacks and a packed lunch. A small cafe will be open at the school if you wish to buy coffees, drinks and lights snacks throughout the week.

I’m a SL student, but the subject is only on offer for HL. Can I attend?

Some subjects will be a combination of HL & SL students (Business Management, Economics & English Lit). Unfortunately, due to the difference in the syllabus of all other subjects, SL students will not be able to attend HL subjects and vice versa.

I’m in my first year of IBDP, can I still attend?

The IB Exam Courses are suitable for those in their second year of IBDP as its designed to provide support for your final exams at the end of year 2. If you are looking to prepare for your second year of IBDP please see our Mid-IB courses. If you are looking to prepare for your first year of IBDP please see our Pre-IB courses.

What if I'm ill and cannot attend class?

Will I get homework to complete?

Yes, your teacher will set homework each day. Please try your best to complete this as it may be a task relevant for the following day.

I’m not based in The Gold Coast, can I still attend?

Of course! Please note, you will have to book your own transport and accommodation if you don’t live in the area. Please also take into consideration travel restrictions due to the pandemic.

How many students are in each class?

On all of our courses, we ensure that there is a maximum of ten students per class. This allows our students to have more one-on-one time with their teachers.

Who are the OSC teachers?

Our teachers are experienced teachers from top IB schools around the world, and approximately 90% are also examiners. Our teachers go through a strict and thorough recruitment process as well as a mentoring programme if they are new to OSC. Meet the team.

I would like to sign up for two subjects. How long will the course be?

Each subject is 17.5 hours of tuition over 2.5 days so 2 subjects will be over 5 days.

Do I need to wear school uniform?

No, casual clothing is absolutely fine.
