A process journal is a record of progress. It can be written, visual, audio or a combination. It can be paper and pencil or electronic.

Organize by evidence of each criteria and strand.

Students who struggle with self-management of their process journal will quickly begin to feel it is 'busy work' if they have to backfill their work. Support students with regular check-ins and work with support teachers to scaffold the process journal with prompts, questions, and activities for student designated in your inclusion policy.
