Organise a graduation celebration for Year 5 MYP students going into the Diploma Programme (DP).
Consider using ManageBac to allow MYP Year 5 students make their DP subject choices via the as part of the graduation/celebration process.
It may be worthwhile to have preparatory exams in DP style conditions for MYP Year 5 students if your school does not do eAssessment or any other standardised test for MYP Year 5 students. This can be achieved with ’s two-way integration.
With the leadership team prepare gifts or videos for teachers that are leaving the school.
Work with teachers to prepare a summer packet of work for the students to get them ready for next year’s material.
Ensure that leaving teachers have given their teaching materials either to you or the curriculum leads for next year’s new teachers

Transition the students into their next year levels and have a workshop for students doing the personal/community project next year, so that they can get started researching in the summer.
