Service as action is a part of helping others and making the world a better, more peaceful place. It also involves helping YOU grow and learn about yourself - your strengths and areas you might need to strengthen!

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Learner Profile describes attributes that “can help individuals and groups become responsible, members of the local, national and global communities.”

Below are just a few ways in which each attribute might help you develop awareness, skills and personal strengths as you participate in service as action experiences!

The descriptions above are drawn from the IB Learner Profile descriptions. MYP: From principles into practice, May 2014 (Updated September 2017)

When you reflect on what you have learned about yourself and how you have grown through your service as action experiences, it may be helpful to consider these Learner Profile descriptions!
