I love 'escape the room' activities, and so do many students! It is a simple way to gamify recall or practice questions. When done remotely, you need to think of how to replicate the process online. One way is to use a simple Google Form approach, using the 'Go to section based on answer' function to reward correct answers and penalise incorrect ones! Here's a quick example I created:
