Communication and regular contact with your supervisor is key.

Remember, they are there to help you develop strong research and communication skills. They can also help you to:

  • devise a well-formulated and focused research question

  • advise you on appropriate citing and referencing

  • suggest research methods and sources.

Finally, they will ensure the reflective project is all your own work and will verify its authenticity to the IB.

It is your responsibility to meet internal and external deadlines, address the assessment criteria and acknowledge all your sources.

Your supervisor is not permitted to proofread your work, or correct information, spelling or grammar.
