Predictable routines may support all stakeholders in the implementation of the PYP.

School coordinators can set the stage for success by establishing systems and procedures around many aspects of managing the programme, including:

  • Ongoing, school based professional development

  • Grade level/age group/subject specialist collaboration

  • Acquisition and/or purchasing of resources to support the implementation of the programme

  • Communication with the school community

  • Official IB training

    • How often will people receive training?

    • What priorities exist for official IB training?

    • How will training be financed?

    • How will participants apply and share their new understanding with others?
