# Developing systems and procedures

School coordinators can set the stage for success by establishing systems and procedures around many aspects of managing the programme, including:

* Ongoing, school based professional development
* Grade level/age group/subject specialist collaboration
* Acquisition and/or purchasing of resources to support the implementation of the programme
* Communication with the school community
* Official IB training
  * How often will people receive training?
  * What priorities exist for official IB training?
  * How will training be financed?
  * How will participants apply and share their new understanding with others?
