If it weren’t for the last minute, I would never get anything done

The advent of the internet has provided the means by which experts and non-experts can share their thoughts and opinions on a wide variety of topics.

For example, Henrik Edberg shares “things that have had a positive effect on my life” in his Positivity Blog. He offers the following advice on procrastination:

  • Recognise that there is more pain in procrastinating than not

  • Force yourself to do it before you really absolutely have to do it

  • Create a flow

  • Get some leverage

  • How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time

  • Change your beliefs

  • Make a small deal with yourself

As well as blogging, experts and non-experts can share their ideas with a global audience on TED Talks.

In this TEDx talk, Vik Nithy, a student of psychology shares his advice about procrastination.
