IA Statistics…where do I start?

So, your group has conducted your IA, and you have all your raw data either in an Excel sheet or Word document, or (hopefully not!) scribbled down on a piece of paper. You see from the Pamoja instructions that you have to analyse these using descriptive and inferential statistics. But which descriptive measures and which inferential test should you use? Here’s an easy way to decide.

Before you start your calculations, this Psychology in the Classroom lesson is very helpful https://changingstatesofmind.libsyn.com/what-do-the-numbers-mean

You do not have to do the calculations by hand unless you really want to. Use an online site to help you. www.socscistatistics.com is the simplest. But be sure to run the data twice to double-check it.
